Bohemia Recap – February 2025
Another month has flown by, and with it came exciting updates, community events, and major announcements across our games! From the release of DayZ Update 1.27 to Arma Reforger’s stress tests and Vigor’s long-awaited console crossplay, February was packed with big moments.
We also continued celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Bohemia Interactive with a special live album release and continued to showcase the incredible work of our passionate modding community in Arma 3. Plus, we hosted a charity event in support of veterans, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond gaming.
DayZ
The biggest highlight of February in DayZ was the release of Update 1.27, along with sneak peeks of what's coming in 2025!
Get ready for three major updates this year, as well as plenty of exciting events!
While we’re not revealing too much just yet, here are some of the key areas we’re focusing on in our upcoming updates:
- Gunplay refinements – Look forward to improved scopes, new firearms, and better weapon handling.
- Quality-of-life & performance enhancements – Addressing community feedback, bug fixes, and optimizations.
- Expanded dynamic events for Sakhal – Making the world of DayZ even more unpredictable.
- A refreshed experience – Updating the main menu interface for improved navigation, news delivery, and accessibility.

Arma Reforger
February kicked off with Modding Boot Camp #6, where we explored advanced replication within the Enfusion Engine, expanding on the foundations from episode 5.
We also stress-tested 128-player official EU servers with maximum AI counts, gathering crucial data to determine optimal server configurations for higher player counts in the future.
Exciting news for music lovers – the Bohemia Interactive 25th Anniversary LIVE Album is now available in Steam inventories for Arma 3 Ground Edition and Arma Reforger Deluxe Edition owners!
We also surprised Arma Reforger developers at their desks, asking burning questions about upcoming features in Update 1.3 and beyond! Some of the revealed details have never been publicly announced before—watch the full video here:
As part of the #DontFightAlone initiative, we hosted a charity event to support @StackUpDotOrg, helping veterans dealing with physical and emotional trauma.

Arma 3
The Arma 3 modding community has spent the last 11 years revolutionizing gameplay with incredible mods! From advanced movement systems, AI overhauls, animation improvements, and much more—check out some of the must-have gameplay mods that every Arma player should download today!
Vigor
Console crossplay is here! Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch players can now battle it out across ALL game modes!
We also made some adjustments to the Donation Hub—now Food grants more Gratitude than before. Learn more about these changes here.
