Bohemia Recap – June 2024
Hey there, folks! Hot enough for you?
Temperatures are soaring around the world. Millions are flocking to holiday spots for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Some of us Bohemians are on vacation too, but that doesn’t mean we’ve slowed down at all. Arma Reforger released Major Update 1.2: Reinforcements. Meanwhile, Arma 3 hosted special guests and shared a couple of articles on mods to help enhance the Arma experience. Vigor dropped a couple of bundles and a patch for PC, while DayZ released the This Is Your Story Ammo Box. Then there was Ylands, who released a comprehensive new update and is now available on the Nintendo Switch!
See? We told you that we were busy. So let’s get into last month’s headlines without any further ado!
DayZ
We released a Frostline dev blog that dealt with skybox and weather changes, then another dev blog detailing our favorite points of interest.
We also dropped a collaborative bundle with Vigor called the Bohemia Survivors Pack, as well as the This is your story Ammo Box.
In other news, we released patches and a hot fix for update 1.25, as well as our latest Community Spotlight.
Arma Reforger
We released our 1.2 Major Update: Reinforcements with highly requested items such as new weapons, equipment, flares, explosive charges, AI driving and commanding, defensive helicopter weapons, new inventory overhaul, and more!
Reforger RFI #5 was released. We sat down with five community members turned Bohemia Interactive developers who are now shaping the future of the Arma franchise.
We also published a new Modding Update that concerns changes which could impact modders in update 1.2.
Arma 3
Community Manager LeClair and Nillers, along with some special guests, played another modded Arma 3 Dynamic Recon Ops session on YouTube.
Community Manager LeClair stormed Utah Beach in a D-Day 80th Anniversary event that was designed and hosted by a member of the community!
We published two extensive articles last month that detail how new players can enhance their Arma 3 experience with mods. The articles provide a comprehensive list of common equipment, uniforms, and aircraft mods that players have enjoyed over the last 10 years.
We also releases a new Community Profile, this time about Community Leader Barden.
Vigor
We announced to our community that Xbox Outlanders with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can grab the Heatwave Havoc Pack for free.

In other news, we compensated players for unfinished levels in Vigor Chronicles: Deception, released a Dev Stream that featured a Season 19 Q&A and discussed PC Patch 2.0, and held another Booster Apocalypse in the middle of June.
Summer Days Cosmetics arrived to the Outlands. We also released two new bundles. The first saw Vigor joining DayZ in a brand new Bohemia Survivors Pack. The second bundle features Vigor and the Arma Platform, otherwise known as the Bohemia Shooter Pack, which you can get your hands on here.
The community asked for more info regarding the Weapon Overhaul. We answered their call with our Vigor Explained video:
Rounding things up, we released Patch 3.0 on PC, and continue to solve connection issues on consoles. A huge thanks to all of you Outlanders who’ve been helping with reports.
Ylands
The biggest news of the month, of course, was Ylands becoming available on the Nintendo Switch!
We also released update 2.3. The update comes with a brand new Story Yland. In this new chapter, players travel to the Monsoonal region, where strange things begin to happen. Could these events have anything to do with the arrival of elves? That’s up to you (and Horatio Reginald Elmwood) to find out! Update 2.3 also includes random encounter objectives, gamepad support, and random encounters created by our community!
