DayZ Badlands is Out Now!

We’re thrilled to announce that DayZ Badlands is now live on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation (NA, EU)!

To celebrate this major milestone, we’re launching DayZ Badlands with a 10% discount, bringing the price to approximately $22.50. For those who own the base game and want to take on new challenges, both DayZ Badlands and DayZ Frostline are now available as part of the Hot & Cool Bundle!

What you can expect

DayZ Badlands features Nasdara: a brand new map that spans a massive 267 km² - the largest terrain we’ve ever worked on for DayZ.

This beautiful, war-torn landscape features jagged mountains and sprawling desert plains, as well as large evacuation zones, abandoned oil fields, and crumbling military bases. Secrets, loot, and adventures await those who are willing to risk their lives.

Sandstorms are a threat, as is overexposure to the ever-present sun. Staying hydrated is essential. So is proper gear if you want to manage new medical threats like heatstroke and silicosis.

Shelter is crucial. Cool off in the shade or rebuild a base from one of the nearly 5,000 scattered across the land. You’ll also find wells and irrigation tunnels, which are ripe for PvP and collaborations.

Motorbikes are an exciting addition to DayZ Badlands. They’ll help you cover more ground and offer ragdoll physics when you inevitably crash or wipe out.

The motorbikes also offer a new and dynamic way to find loot in the form of Morse code gameplay. Keep your personal radio close as transmissions carry coordinates and access codes to urban bunkers. Decode the messages, find the entrances, and claim your rewards.

DayZ Badlands lets you adapt to your surroundings with new face wraps, dust goggles, lightweight clothing, and desert camouflage. You can also arm yourself with weapons that range from the classic Lee-Enfield to modern SCR firearms.

New local food and snacks will help you to sustain yourself, though you can also resort to hunting the region’s wildlife.

Finally, keep an eye open for mouflons, desert monitors, and territorial dogs that guard their former owners’ grounds alongside the infected.

We’re very excited about this new milestone and hope you’ll love DayZ Badlands as much as we do.
