DayZ comes to PS4

Welcome to Chernarus, Survivors.

DayZ has made its way to PS4 and is available to download right now! To celebrate this momentous occasion, we premiered a cinematic glimpse into the unforgiving world of Chernarus by releasing a brand-new live action trailer. So, sit back, crank up the volume, and enjoy a visceral ride through the post-apocalyptic wasteland of DayZ...

Following the full release on PC and Xbox One, PS4 players will now also be able to experience the survival game that defined a genre. Presenting a vast open world (230 km2) populated with frenzied infected — combined with survival mechanics, persistent servers, and permadeath — DayZ offers the perfect environment to experience organic, emergent gameplay. With up to 60 players on a server, interacting with survivors is a big part of the DayZ experience, and whether you choose to engage in tense firefights, trade with friendlies, assist fresh-spawns, or team up with friends to survive together, you can tackle the harsh-but-beautiful landscape of Chernarus in whichever way you want.

In addition to the live action trailer, we recently released a gameplay trailer, “This is DayZ”, which outlines the core mechanics, features, and general concepts of the game. Perfect for those new to DayZ who want a digestible rundown of what the game is about and the many experiences it has to offer.

DayZ is now available to purchase on PSN for 49.99 USD / 49.99 EUR / 39.99 GBP and the console versions of the game will also see a physical release available in stores later this year. There has never been a better time to jump on board and try your hand at authentic, hardcore survival — and it's even better if you bring a friend or two along for the ride.
